Free books

On Saturday, I went out with everyone else (Mam, Mom, Sarah and Emma) to go to yard sales. I didn’t buy anything, because there were two free yard sales, where you simply donated money and took what you wanted. In one of them, I got seven old books (I took pictures that are somewhere) that date from 1924 to 1947. One of them had the copyright of 1905, but it doesn’t look like it’s 104 years old, and a note written on the inside cover says 1943. My mother was sorting through boxes of our stuff and also found a book from 1910, which she accidentally ripped the cover off of, but I fixed it. At the other free yard sale, I got a nightdress that I’m reworking.

All of the TV shows that I watch have finished, and some were extremely disappointing. One of them has two cast members that aren’t returning next season, but in the finale, where I expected one to die, nothing happened at all. It was much more like a series finale than anything, and the show itself is getting very boring. On another one, they had been saying things would happen, but it turned out somebody in a coma was having a dream, and then had amnesia. That one was a bit of a letdown. I made chocolate chip cookies last night, but I didn’t get the chance to bake them yet. I’ll have to go do that before it’s lunchtime.
