Visiting Sarah (again)
Tuesday, August 18th, 2009A week ago I got to go visit Sarah again, starting on Monday and going to Friday, and I didn’t write yet because my eyes started to hurt again and I couldn’t do much on the computer. Anyway, on Monday, after Sarah came up on the bus Saturday night, Dad drove the both of us down to Fredericton, and we did a few things before he left. Sarah and I watched a movie and looked at other ones we might watch while I was there, and that’s what we did for the night. We wanted to go see Addison, but he and Kaytlyn were busy and said we could come over the next night.
On Tuesday we walked around, and I’m pretty sure it was the day we went to the library, Tim Hornton’s, and to a third place I can’t remember. We went over to Addison’s for supper and I stayed the night there, my only one this time.
On Wednesday I felt sick, but I still walked around to the grocery store, past Sarah’s next apartment, and to the Salvation army. We also went to Mike’s again, and he made us some pizza after we ran around the store. We played a game that we (our family) used to have, but I don’t know what happened to, and Sarah won once, and Mike won the second game. We played another game where your can steal planes and helicopters, so I did that a few times and got home a bit later than usual.
For Thursday I felt better, and Sarah and I took the bus to the mall. I had gift cards, so I bought two things, but I didn’t buy anything else. We took the bus back and walked to Sarah’s apartment a few blocks away, and Addison came over later that night and played Settlers of Catan (the game I mentioned earlier that we also played on Tuesday night) with us. He won again. I went with Sarah to the grocery store and we watched the rest of another movie before I went to bed.
Friday was the day I was going home, and my mother, my dad, and Emma came and picked me up. We went to a few stores I didn’t get to go to that week, and then we went home. It had been fairly warm the whole week, but it was 30+ degrees outside the day I went home, and it has been ever since. It’ll probably be this hot until Thursday.
