We rented a dumpster for, well, garbage. On monday, dad had to go dumpster diving for some old floppy discs he threw in there because we figured out that, hey, you could make stuff with them. Then yesterday it was emptied, and i put something in it that i wasn't supposed to so dad had to go dumpster diving again. Will he have to today? Stay tuned to find out.

I've been washing windows this morning. It's actually quite satisfactory to see all the nice, clean windows.

Sarah wants to use this now. I should get off now.

So! I haven't really posted much. We've been pretty busy. anyway, we've moved, it's summer, and the new house is awesome. But right now, we're at the old house. We don't go home until sunday! It's so far away. All i have to do is clean, clean, clean, and sew (i've been sewing by hand alot since i moved, too). And wait.

Although, good things will come out of this. I saw Harry potter and the order of the pheonix last night, and mom's going to buy the last HP book when it comes out on saturday.

About the movie. I really liked it. The only thing i didn't like was some of the camera work - it's not like the other movies and it's sort of weird, but there were some very cool parts. It was my favorite book and i'm glad i saw it I would want to see it again in the theater but i guess i'll wait - i don't want to drag Sarah around with me to see it again. Looks like i'll have to see it on dvd when we buy it. Or if i get it for Christmas.

Oh, and i have a sister-in-law. Addison got married ('scuse me, they eloped) and there'll be a party sometime for it. I'm looking forward to that

Well, the whole week at the apartment, i didn't touch the computer at all. i just felt like reading and knitting, and cleaning too.

We got the keys to the house and we cleaned it up a bit. last night i also packed a bunch of stuff from my closet, and i just hope i won't need it in the near future. most of my clothes are packed, too.

Last week was very nice though. i think it was on Monday or Tuesday that it was about 30 degrees out. it was nice for a change.

Now, all sorts of things are growing, which is awesome. we went to the nursery yesterday, too, and i got some flowers which were like over-sized daisies with yellow petals and a bit of purple in the center. they're very cute. i can't wait to start gardening at the new house - it'll be alot of fun. i really like to garden.

Today is Mother's day, and what i got my mom was....well, i'm going to clean up around the house. i actually don't mind cleaning that much.

I think the water in the lake where we live is safe to swim in, because there were actual people swimming around near the little bridge there. i wish i could go swimming right now, but we're just so busy. maybe we will soon. i hope so, because i still have that bathing suit i got a few months ago, and i haven't gotten the chance to use it yet.

I'm going to go read. i keep getting distracted.

or pherhaps it's just me.

we're not going anywhere today, which is fine by me. we might get the car back tonight, but otherwise...

so, i looked at the weather and it's 24 degrees over here. it might get up to 27. *whistles* yeah, too bad i can't actually whistle. so i took emma outside, and i let her help me with the dishes (i get lunch duty over here, and back home i do all of it). we made lemonade with real lemons. it's probably the best lemonade i've ever had.

earlier, i listened to a few cds that had songs on them that remind me of summer. i love summer. it's definitely my favorite time of year. spring is a close second, then fall, then winter. winter can be okay at times but i like warm weather way better. there's a nice breeze today and it's slightly warm. it's very nice. i'm hoping it doesn't snow again until next winter. i feel a little bad about saying that because i aslo hate the whole, you know, global warming thing. but i can't wait for summer. the best thing is, we'll be in the new house by then. and it's gorgeous here in the summer, so i can't wait for that. it's going to be awesome.

what i also can't wait for is, well, emma to be big enough to go without her carseat. i know i didn't have one when i was 7 or so. yeah, emma's only 6, but i think i remember alot of things from then. the reason is because there's not alot of room in the backseat of the car - and let's just say, i'm not a touchy-feely kind of person. i actually try to avoid contact unless it's emma or i want to give someone a hug.

i hope we get to drive (very slowly) by our new, awesome house. i bet it looks better when all the snow is gone. i want to look and wander around the yard, too. just to get the lay of the land.

i'll probably post here alot this week. i didn't bring any books (other than notebooks for ideas for stories or other things, and a latin textbook from 1926), or the laptop (what i write stories on). i just brought the latin stuff, notebooks, and some half-finished thing i'm trying to knit. a funny story, actually, because i started out with maybe 8 stitches and somehow i added about 12 stitches. i really don't know how it happened. but now that i have looser stitches (they used to be way too tight) and i don't add more stitches in between or anything. i'll be sure to take a picture sometime.
